Santa Singh needed some money desperately.

His friend Banta, tells him that if he prays to Lord Shiva in a temple,
his

prayers would surely be answered.

So Santa goes to a Shiva temple. The temple had a large idol of Lord
Shiva.

Santa closes his eyes, bows his head, joins his hands and says his
prayer.
Santa : " Ho Jee ! Tussee itne vadde ho. Itne mahan ho. Saannoo 100
rupayen

chahiye. Kirpa karo ! "

A kind priest saw Santa praying. He wanted to help Santa. But, knew that

a
Sikh will never accept money in charity. So he drops a 100-rupee note,
from

behind the idol, so that Santa would not not see him.

After Santa had said his prayers and opened his eyes, he saw the note
and
was convinced that God had listened to his prayers. He takes the note
and
goes away.

However he is back again next day for more money.

Now the priest is really annoyed with Santa. The Priest decides not to
give

any more money. He changes the large Shiva idol to a very small idol of
Ganpati !

This time as Santa is convinced about the Lord's earlier help, he closes

his eyes and walks into the sanctum. Santa bows his head, joins his
hands
and says his prayer.

Santa : " Ho Jee ! Tussee itne vadde ho. Itne mahan ho. Ajj tho Saannoo
sirf
50 rupayen hee chahiye. Kirpa karo ! "

After that he slowly opens his eyes, without looking at the idol in
front,
looks down for the money and finds none !  Quickly he closes his eyes
once
again and prays.

Santa : " Ho Jee ! Tussee itne vadde ho. Itne mahan ho. Ajj tho Saannoo

        sirf  50 rupayen hee chahiye. Kirpa karo ! "

He slowly raises his head and now notices the small idol of Ganpati !

He carefully looks left and then right, and then slowly moves a bit
forward
near the statue. Then he whispers to the statue -
" Puttar, Papa kitth e hai ??? "
